How to delete all your tweets at once

Short answer

X does not offer a “delete all tweets” button. You either delete tweets one by one (open a tweet → ••• → Delete), or use a tool that does those same clicks for you. Erasion does it in your own x.com tab, with a preview first and random pauses so your account stays safe.

The manual way

  1. Open your profile on x.com and go to the Posts tab.
  2. On each tweet, click ••• and choose Delete, then confirm.
  3. Repeat for every tweet. Replies are on the Replies tab and retweets are removed with Undo repost.

This works for a few dozen tweets. For hundreds or thousands it takes days, and X only shows your most recent tweets on the profile, so old ones are hard to reach.

The fast way with Erasion

  1. Sign in at erasion.site (new accounts get 100 free actions) and install the extension.
  2. Open Clean up → Delete tweets and pick the Tweets tab. Add a date range or keywords if you only want some tweets gone.
  3. Press Preview to see exactly which tweets match. Nothing is deleted yet.
  4. Tick the confirmation and start. Erasion deletes with random pauses, and you can pause or stop any time.
  5. Erasion works in a small x.com window of its own. Keep it on screen, for example at the side, and use your computer for other things meanwhile.

Your X password is never asked for: Erasion works inside the x.com tab you are already signed in to.

Questions

Can deleted tweets be restored?

No. Deleted tweets are gone for good. Download your X archive first if you want a copy.

Does deleting many tweets get my account banned?

Bulk activity can make X limit an account for a while. Erasion pauses at random, slows down when X pushes back, and warns you when a speed is risky.
