How to unfollow everyone who does not follow you back on X

Short answer

On your Following list, accounts that follow you back show a “Follows you” label. Unfollow the ones without it, by hand or with Erasion's “Only accounts that do not follow back” option, which skips mutuals and the accounts you list.

The manual way

  1. Open your profile and click Following.
  2. Look for the Follows you label under each name. No label means they do not follow you back.
  3. Click Following → Unfollow on those accounts.

With Erasion

  1. Open Clean up → Unfollow.
  2. Tick Only accounts that do not follow back.
  3. Add accounts to keep, such as friends or brands, under Keep following these accounts.
  4. Preview, tick the confirmation and start.

If X does not show the “Follows you” label, Erasion stops before unfollowing anyone, so mutual follows are never removed by mistake.

Large lists

X limits bulk unfollowing. For thousands of accounts, use the default speed and spread the work over several days.
