Common questions.
How long does it take to delete 10,000 tweets?
About 15–30 hours at the recommended speed, because Erasion pauses a few random seconds between actions so X does not limit your account. You do not have to watch it: it works in a small window of its own while you use your computer for other things. You can pick a faster speed, and pause or resume at any time.
I follow 30,000 accounts. Can I unfollow only those who do not follow back?
Yes. Erasion skips accounts marked "Follows you", even when thousands of them come first in the list, and keeps scrolling. Spread large unfollows over several days, because X limits bulk unfollowing.
Is it safe for my account?
Erasion only clicks in x.com, the way you would, with random pauses and an automatic stop when X pushes back. It never sends hidden requests to X. Bulk activity of any kind can still be limited by X for a while, so start with a small limit.
Can deletions be undone?
No. Deleted tweets cannot be restored, which is why there is a preview and a confirmation first. Download your X archive if you want a copy.
Why do I need an extension?
So the work happens in your own x.com tab. That way we never need your X password or access to your X account.
My old tweets or likes do not show on my profile. Can they be removed?
Yes, with your X data archive. Request it in X (Settings → Your account → Download an archive), then choose tweets.js or like.js in Erasion.
Does it work on my phone?
Not yet. Erasion runs in Chrome, Edge and Brave on a computer.
Does my balance expire?
